Fun Text Idea: The First One

Find the very first photo that exists of the two of you together. Doesn't matter how bad the quality, how long ago, how unflattering. Send it with one of these:

Caption options, pick one, or swap for your own:

"Found this. Look at us pretending we knew what we were doing."

"Found this. This is where it all started for us."

"Look how far we've come. Still glad I found you back then."

Bonus: Send it with no warning, mid-day, out of nowhere.

The Thank You That Actually Counts

A 2025 study found something almost sneaky about gratitude.

Feeling grateful for your partner doesn't do much for them. Saying it does. Researchers tracked couples day by day. On the days someone heard their partner actually say thanks, their own self-esteem went up. That same day.

Bonus: Tonight, thank them for something specific. Not "thanks for everything." Try "thanks for grabbing my coffee order right without me asking."

Connecting Conversations

"Love doesn't make the world go round. Love is what makes the ride worthwhile."
~Franklin P. Jones

This weekend, try asking your significant other:

  • If for some reason I lost my memory, what’s the first thing you’d tell me about us?

  • Has anyone put expectations on you that have shaped you?

  • At what moment did you realize choosing me was a great idea?
