Thoughtful Text: Memory Magic

Life isn’t the passing of time, it’s a collection of experiences.

For today’s text think back to 2021 and find a memory with your SO that gives you the fuzzies. Use your phone photo album to help if needed. Send something along the lines of:

“I was just thinking about [specific memory]. I really loved [specific moment], it made me [specific physical reaction]. Glad I get to do life with you! Love youuuu“

example:

I was just thinking about that night we got caught in the rain with the top down in the mustang. I can still hear your giggles and laughter even though we were getting drenched lol. Thanks for doing life with me, I think moments like that are what it’s all about. Love you!

FYI: Questions Increase Liking

“…we identify a robust and consistent relationship between question-asking and liking: people who ask more questions, particularly follow-up questions, are better liked by their conversation partners

Ask more questions = be liked more

Simple enough right?

Connecting Conversations

“Each person's life is lived as a series of conversations.”
~Deborah Tannen

  • What smell reminds you of me?

  • Do you miss anything that we used to do?

  • What do you think our current challenge is trying to teach us?
