Thoughtful Gesture: The Snack Hunt

Pick up two or three of your significant other's favorite snacks on your next store run. The ones they love but never get for themselves.

When you get home, hide them around the house. Their nightstand. Their desk drawer. The car cup holder. The bathroom counter.

Then text them: "I hid some snacks for you. Good luck 😘"

That's the whole game. They'll find them over the next day or two and smile every time.

And while you're out, you might as well grab one for yourself too heehee

Mini-Date: Closet Roulette

Tell your significant other this:

"Tonight at 7, we're both going to come out wearing something we haven't worn in at least 6 months. You can't tell me what you're picking and I can't tell you. We just walk out and see what each other picked."

Then do it. Both of you disappear for 10 minutes, dig through your closets, and meet back in the living room.

Then sit and have a drink. Show each other a photo from the last time you wore that outfit. Laugh about it. Take a new photo.

Might feel a little ridiculous at first. Could lead to a lot of fun.

Connecting Conversations

~Mary Oliver

This weekend, try asking your significant other:

  • The first time we met, what do you remember thinking about me that still holds true now?

  • What’s something most people haven’t done but you have?
