Connecting Conversations
Sometimes a great question is all you need to start a meaningful conversation :)
This weekend, try asking your significant other:
What’s one thing you’d like to get better at over the next year?
What is one of your favorite sexual memories of us?
If life is a game, what’s one of the most important rules?
Thoughtful Text Idea
Ok it might be a little cheesy but tis the season is it not? You can save this one for next week or Christmas Eve if you’d like. Feel free to alter to fit your voice:
If love were a Christmas tree, you would be the star shining at the very top. Merry Christmas to the reason my heart celebrates every day of the year. I love you!
Weekend Date Idea: Wrap & Flirt Night
If you still have some presents left to wrap try doing it like this:
Turn wrapping into a “station.”
Clear a spot on the floor or bed. Toss all the gifts, wrapping paper, tape, and bows in one pile. Add music + drinks. Phones away.Wrap one, answer one.
Every time you finish wrapping a gift, take turns answering a prompt like:“One favorite memory with you from this year…”
“Something you did this year that made me feel loved…”
“One thing I’m really looking forward to with you next year…”
“Something about you I still find stupidly attractive…”
“If next year had a ‘theme’ for us, I’d want it to be…”
Keep it light
This doesn’t have to turn into a 2-hour deep talk. Think 20–30 minutes of “we’re a team, we’re us” while you two knock out something you had to do anyway.
By the time the gifts are wrapped, you’ve also wrapped yourselves in a little bubble of “oh yeaaaaah, I reaaaaally like you.” :)
