Tasty date night idea, connecting questions & money's greatest value?

The Spark (by Hunter at Show Her Off Dance).

A great relationship doesn’t happen because of the love you had in the beginning, but how well you continue building love until the end.”

Connecting Conversations

Sometimes a great question is all you need to start a meaningful conversation :)

This weekend, try asking your significant other:

  • Why do you still choose to love me?

  • If you had to teach a workshop about relationships, what point would you want to most emphasize?

  • What do you need to make more time for?

Date Night Idea

You’ve probably been to a wine or whiskey tasting… but have you ever done a smoothie or milkshake tasting? Yum!

You can try this tasty date night at home or find a couple local smoothie / milkshake shops for an outdoor adventure together!

If you’re going to do this one at home hop on Google or Youtube and search for 3-5 milkshake / smoothie recipes that look tasty. Be sure to include one that sounds exotic just to mix things up and try something new.

Get all the ingredients out, your blender and put some music on in the background and start mixing! Once the smoothies are all made try each of them together and chat about which is your favorite.

PS - Great time to do a little dancing in the kitchen too ;)

To Discuss Together

“Having a strong sense of controlling one’s life is a more dependable predictor of positive feelings of wellbeing than any of the objective conditions of life we have considered.

More than your salary. More than the size of your house. More than the prestige of your job. Control over doing what you want, when you want, with the people you want to, is the broadest lifestyle variable that makes people happy.

Money’s greatest intrinsic value - and this can’t be overstated - is its ability to give you control over your time. To obtain, bit by bit, a level of independence and autonomy that comes from unspent assets that give you greater control over what you can do and when you can do it.”

Great nugget from a book I recently read, The Psychology of Money by Morgan Housel. An excellent read if you are in a season of wanting to sharpen your financial skills.

Discuss the above with your partner and see what both you and your partner think.
