Taste Memories with this Date Night

Connecting Conversations

Sometimes a great question is all you need to start a meaningful conversation :)

This weekend, try asking your significant other:

  • What’s the most dangerous thing we’ve ever done?

  • How do we agree to make up after an argument?

  • What is one way you would like to grow together sexually in the next year?

A fellow Spark reader, Tommy, shared a win from using these questions:

Wanted to share a great response to your questions. From 2 months ago, a question was, ‘If you had an extra $100 to spend on yourself every week, what would you do?’

I asked my wife that question, as we were out on a date night. She immediately answered, ‘I’d hire a personal trainer. I want to get back in shape to continue running marathons.’

Guess what we did the very next week? Hire a personal trainer!

The questions work to help me get deeper to my wife’s heart and her needs than I can normally get. Thanks for the resources!”

Do you have any wins to share? I’d love to hear!

Date Night Idea: Taste Memories… or Make New Ones

Does your significant other have a favorite dish from a restaurant you two visited while traveling? Do you?

How about planning a surprise date with that meal!

GoldBelly.com let’s you do just that - order Pat Kings Original Cheesesteak from Philly, a deep dish pizza from Chicago or maybe some BBQ from TX - and more.

Another approach is if there is a famous restaurant / meal you two have always wanted to try but it isn’t local you can plan a date night home together around that.

If you want to dive deeper you two could each spend the day reviewing famous restaurant meals on Youtube and then in evening discuss your findings and decide what you want to try together.

Yum!

Before you go: Here are 3 ways I can help

  1. Schedule A Clarity Call - Let’s work through an issue you’re wrestling with. I only have a few open slots next week.

  2. Plan a Unique Experience - Big, small and everything in between. If you want some help planning a date night, gift or adventure.

  3. Date Night Dancing - Connect & have a blast discovering how to dance together in your living room.
