Thoughtful Text Idea

Let’s see if you can make your significant other laugh today.

Choose one of these playful texts and send it to them (feel free to alter to fit your voice):

  • Hey baby, do you like Star Wars? Because YODA one to me. Love youuu

  • FYI I bet if you were a triangle you’d be an acute one. muah!

  • So I heard that a kiss can burn 6.4 calories per minute. Wanna work out later?

  • I can’t espresso how much you mean to me. Coffee date this weekend?

Date Night: Dream Vacation

Looking ahead in 2025: how about planning a trip together?

On your next date night, sit down and plan some kind of a trip with no limits.

This is just a fun way to get both of you excited together. You don’t have to commit or do the trip (of course you can if you want!), but rather just get dreaming together about what would be FUN.

It could be a romantic staycation, a short weekend getaway or an international adventure 🏖️

Budget: free

Here are some questions you can ask to get started:

  • What region or country have you always wanted to visit? What makes it so appealing?

  • Where would you go again and why?

  • If we book 1 extra special dinner out, which restaurant would it be and why?

  • For other meals, choose a few favorites you’ve each found online and walk through why those places are attractive to you.

  • What is your dream accommodation in this location? Find an example to share.

  • How do you want to spend your time? Look up some day trips or resort amenities. Find out what your partner truly loves to do when they’re not in their home routine.

Use the questions above to look at specific hotels, tours and beaches, and share what you like and dislike about each one. You can create an imaginary budget that you have to work within to add an extra layer of challenge.

For even more fun you can both sit down together and each plan your own trip with same budget, then present the itinerary to each other and see who came up with the best trip within budget!

You’ll likely come away from this knowing much more about your partner, and probably learn some things that’ll surprise you 😊

Connecting Conversations

Sometimes a great question is all you need to start a meaningful conversation :)

This weekend, try asking your significant other:

  • How do we work well together and balance each other out?

  • How did I make you smile this week?

  • What are three places you’ve thought about having sex other than our bed?
