A “cheesy” date night 🧀
Ask your partner these questions tonight
The Spark (by Hunter at Show Her Off Dance).
“First best is falling in love. Second best is being in love. Least best is falling out of love. But any of it is better than never having been in love.”
Connecting Conversations
Sometimes a great question is all you need to start a meaningful conversation :)
This weekend, try asking your significant other:
What skill(s) do you need to acquire to achieve your next goal?
What is your favorite memory of me?
What's the best TV series we've watched together?
Date Night
This idea involves some time spent together at the stovetop, creating delicious smells and a tasty snack or dessert.
A Cheesy Date Night
Have you had cheese fondue lately?
It’s such a satisfying and comforting snack (or dessert) to be shared.
Heck, why not make it a whole meal?
As the Swiss love to say, “la fondue crée la bonne humeur.”
Meaning: fondue creates a good mood 😀
Here’s what you'll need:
A pot (a regular one will do but it’s nice to transfer it to a fondue pot after cooking to keep the cheese warm)
Cheese: fontina, Gruyère or gouda work well
A recipe to follow here
White wine (or substitute with 8 oz. of unsalted chicken or vegetable stock, or beer) as per the above recipe
Bread to dip (or apples, crackers or steamed broccoli)
Skewers
Budget: $35+ for cheese and wine
