Connecting Conversations

Sometimes a great question is all you need to start a meaningful conversation :)

This weekend, try asking your significant other:

  • What trip has had the biggest impact on your life so far?

  • What ways could I show you affection in our day-to-day life that would make our sexual connection better?

  • What part of yourself are you holding back currently?

Mini-Date: Hot Coca, Warm Hearts

This week, try out this reader favorite date night that will provide sweet memories and maybe even a new tradition!

“Gourmet” Hot Chocolate Night
Set up a hot chocolate station, and go above-and-beyond with the fixings. Include the classics like marshmallows and candy canes, but consider throwing in some fancier options too, like:

  • Toffee bits

  • Cinnamon sticks

  • Pirouette cookies

  • White chocolate shavings

For the drink itself, while instant mixes will do the job, try creating the hot chocolate from scratch.

Here is a popular recipe from Ina Garten that you can try (and confirm if it lives up to the hype).

Once your station is set-up, turn on some holiday music and make your drinks! Then pull out a board game or snuggle down on the couch and watch your favorite holiday movie, Elf maybe?

Thoughtful Text Idea

Let’s get playful since the holiday season is here! Use this prompt to get you started with something to send your significant other (feel free to alter to fit your voice):

“If you were under the mistletoe right now, I wouldn’t waste a second.”

Bonus points if you bring a mistletoe home and hang it up somewhere to surprise them ;)

Help I’m trapped! Lol, got my first dump of snow yesterday, which is actually late for the mountains of Colorado.
